David Horowitz and Daniel Goldberg succeeded founders Isi and Daniel Horowitz as Managing Directors of IDH in 2007, after having been involved in the business for over ten years. Together, they have led the trans- formation of IDH Diamonds from a specialist rough trading business to a diverse and dynamic global diamond company. David’s main focus is managing the operation of the rough diamond business.His strong analytical background and sorting expertise have enabled IDH to improve the efficiency and performance of their core processes. Under David’s leadership, IDH has ambitious plans to grow the scale of its rough business. Daniel has been responsible for ex- tending the business into new areas. For example, The established IDH’s Mumbai and Surat operations; the first Antwerp diamantaire to branch into India. Daniel has also led the revival of IDH’s polishing activities, and is the driving force behind forming IDH Titanium with Francis Mertens.
